Join local artist Sarah Davis for a day’s stained glass workshop in our new Education Room. Sarah is an experienced designer, maker and tutor, who will take you through the process of cutting and joining colourful glass to make your own stained glass hanging to take home. This is an opportunity to learn a traditional craft in the lovely surroundings of the Castle. You’ll select from suggested designs, choose your own glass from a wide range of colours and use the copper foiling technique to join the pieces, making a sturdy decoration for your home.

The small print: This workshop is good for beginners and for those with some experience, but is not advised during pregnancy, or suitable for those under 14 years old.

14 – 18 year olds must be accompanied by a participating adult. Please wear old clothes and covered shoes – no open sandals or flip flops.
