Community engagement

We are dedicated to strengthening our ties with the local community through meaningful engagement and collaboration.

We host and support local events, such as the monthly Farmers Market in the Kitchen Garden, and initiatives that celebrate the rich heritage and natural beauty of the area.

We engage with local communities through conservation projects and events, fostering a sense of shared responsibility for our natural heritage.

We are continually improving accessibility to the Estate by improving the network of public right of ways, to enable more people enjoy the great outdoors.

In addition to the public rights or way, we are in the process of creating some well-maintained and clearly marked walking trails across the Estate which will start and end at our wonderful Kitchen Garden Café & Restaurant.

By creating opportunities for community involvement, we aim to foster a deeper connection between the Estate and its neighbours, ensuring the Estate’s resources benefit everyone.

From hosting family-friendly activities to partnering with local organisations and charities, our goal is to create an inclusive environment where the community can learn, enjoy, and thrive together.
