| Shakespeare's Summer Comedy "Much Ado About Nothing" will take place in Berkeley Castle's gardens on Sunday 8th June. Bring a rug or chairs, something to eat and drink, and if you haven't already experienced a summer's evening on the lawn with the Castle towering over you, try it! | English String Orchestra Christmas Concert |  |

| We will not be having the ESO summer concert usually held in mid June this year - they are taking a break! 30th November 2008 A festive celebration of Christmas in the Castle's mediaeval Great Hall, performed by the internationally renowned English String Orchestra directed by Michael Bochmann (violin). Join your host, Charles Berkeley, around the Christmas Tree and soak up the festive atmosphere, interspersed by selected Christmas readings, and enjoy wine and delicious mince pies. This is a very popular event and spaces will go very fast. Booking details will be announced nearer the time. |
