| 5th to 7th December 2008 Explore the Castle by candlelight and flickering fires, decorated throughout for Christmas. Meet Father Christmas down in his grotto, enjoy the carols in the Great Hall, sip a glass of mulled wine and try some of our mince pies and other refreshments in the tearoom. | 30th November 2008 A festive celebration of Christmas in the Castle's mediaeval Great Hall, performed by the internationally renowned English String Orchestra directed by Michael Bochmann (violin). Join your host, Charles Berkeley, around the Christmas Tree and soak up the festive atmosphere, interspersed by selected Christmas readings, and enjoy wine and delicious mince pies. This is a very popular event and spaces will go very fast. Booking details will be announced nearer the time. |
